About Beckside Honey

Beckside Honey is a small, family-run business based in the South Cumbria countryside. Andrew & Paula Pye are retired dairy and sheep farmers, with a lifelong connection to the land and a deep respect for nature and traditional farming

Our honey is produced in apiaries surrounded by local wildflowers, hedgerows, and farmland. This natural forage gives each jar a flavour that reflects the landscape and seasons of Cumbria. We extract and jar our honey in small batches, using minimal processing to preserve its natural taste, aroma, and texture.

Alongside our honey, we also produce a range of natural beeswax products, including hand-poured candles, traditional beeswax polish, and handmade soap all produced from our cottage kitchen. These are made using wax from our own hives wherever possible, keeping everything simple, natural, and true to its origins.

Nothing is added and nothing is taken away — just honest, natural products made with care. As with all natural produce, colour and flavour can vary throughout the year, making each batch unique.
